Happy New Year!  Here’s the new challenge to ring in the new year.  Adding these photos to the Pixoto Market is not required (but is recommended – just make sure to select “editorial” or include a model release).

1. Submit a straight-on color portrait of a person cropped square with only the face showing
2. Submit a new photo under: People / Portraits of Men or Women
3. If you are adding it to the market make sure to either 1) upload a model release or 2) mark it as editorial
4. Tag the image with: PWCfaces

• The photo must be in color (no black and white or toned images)
• The photo must a strait on portrait of an adult cropped square
• The person’s chin must be very close to the bottom of the frame (or slightly cut-off) and the top of the head must be either cut-off or near the top of the photo
• Improperly categorized images will be recategorized and disqualified
• Image quality (through ImageDuel) will determine the winner.  In other words… the better image will determine the winner not the better concept.
• Enter as many images as you like – only highest scoring one will be chosen for top 10 winners.
• Images must be submitted/resubmitted during the week
• Images must be tagged “PWCfaces”
• You may resubmit an image already on Pixoto, but please be aware that ImageScore, awards and points for the image will be reset upon resubmission
• Duplicates of previously uploaded, and not deleted, Pixoto submissions will be removed.

• Due to the popularity of weekly challenges, we not review qualification requirements for image images with an ImageScore of less than 500
• Be true to the category:  Images in the wrong category will be recategorized and disqualified.
• Entries that do not comply with the above rules will be disqualified (a PWCfaces will be placed on the image).
